Dubai Duty Free has announced a remarkable $1.94 billion in sales as of November 2024, signaling that the company is on track to surpass its $2 billion target by the end of the year. November alone saw sales reach $205.67 million, making it one of the top-performing months in the history of the market. On November 30, Dubai Duty Free set a record for the highest daily sales of the year, totaling $8.46 million. The company is optimistic about achieving even more success in December, with the busy holiday season expected to drive strong sales. CEO Ramesh Kidambi expressed confidence in reaching impressive annual sales figures by the end of 2024, thanks to the continuous efforts of the team and the influx of holiday shoppers.
Notable increases in product categories include perfume sales, which saw a 10% increase from 2023, reaching $362 million. Gold sales rose by 2%, reaching $194.57 million, while electronics sales totaled $134 million. With this continued growth, Dubai Duty Free is poised for a record-breaking finish to 2024.
