Indians make up the largest share of the expatriate population, which constitutes 37.96% of the total population in the UAE.

The Indian community has played a key role in the UAE’s economic growth, contributing significantly to various sectors, including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and finance. Indian Consul General to Dubai, Satish Kumar Sivan, stated that the diaspora has greatly influenced the UAE’s transformation into a leading global financial hub. Their professional expertise and cultural influence have solidified their position as a vital force in the country.
