The city’s New Year’s Eve Security Committee convened for its second meeting to review and finalize security measures for the event. The meeting, held at Dubai Safari Park, was led by Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Acting Chairman of the Event Security Committee and Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations.
A key focus of the meeting was to assess the security strategies that will ensure the safety of both residents and visitors during the New Year’s Eve festivities. Senior representatives from various government agencies, including police department directors and station heads, participated in the discussions. They reviewed the necessary arrangements for crowd control, parking, and managing entry and exit points at various event venues across Dubai.
The committee’s efforts aim to guarantee a smooth flow of people and vehicles during one of the city’s most anticipated celebrations.
