Air India has introduced Wi-Fi service on both domestic and international flights, making it the first airline in India to offer in-flight Wi-Fi on domestic routes. This new service is available on select aircraft, including the Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9, and Airbus A321 Neo models.
In the initial phase, passengers can enjoy free internet access during their flights, staying connected with social media and using Wi-Fi-enabled devices like laptops, tablets, and smartphones running iOS or Android. Air India has already been trialling Wi-Fi on international routes to destinations like New York, London, Paris, and Singapore.
With this move, Air India becomes the first Indian airline to provide Wi-Fi on domestic flights, further enhancing the passenger experience by offering seamless connectivity during air travel.
