Rescue Police in Mahboula have arrested two expatriates suspected of involvement in alcohol possession and illegal trade. The suspects were intercepted during a routine patrol while traveling in a saloon vehicle. Upon inspection, officers discovered 213 bottles of locally-produced alcohol and 260 Kuwaiti dinars, believed to be profits from alcohol sales.
A security source reported that the suspects confessed to selling alcohol during questioning. They have been handed over to the General Department for Drug Control for further legal proceedings. Authorities remain vigilant in their efforts to combat the illegal alcohol trade in the region.
