Bahrain International Airport recorded a significant surge in passenger traffic in 2024, with 772,770 passengers passing through the airport last month, according to the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications. Of these, 388,008 passengers flew out of Bahrain, while 383,691 arrived. In total, the airport facilitated 8,538 flight operations for arrivals and departures. Additionally, the airport saw a strong performance in air cargo, handling 34,218 tonnes of goods.
