The Technical Committee of the Municipal Council is set to discuss a proposal by the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources to designate specific plots of land as shelters for stray dogs.
According to Eng. Manal Al-Asfour, Acting Director General of the Municipality, authorities have requested the Agricultural Authority to assess and identify suitable locations for these shelters within the agricultural areas of Wafra, Abdali, Kabad, and Sulaibiya. The study will determine appropriate land areas and coordinates to facilitate the project’s development.

The committee will also review several other urban and infrastructure proposals, including:
- Kuwait Metro Project Update: Response from the executive body to the Municipal Council’s Deputy Chairman, Khaled Al-Mutairi.
- Residential Construction Regulations: A letter from Abu Al-Hasani residents regarding the construction percentage in their area.
- Building Regulation Amendments: Observations from the Real Estate Union on proposed modifications.
- Tourism Development: A request from the Tourism Projects Company to amend the Al-Aqila Beach Development Project (Beach No. 7).
