Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) is set to expand its operations to more emirates across the UAE, according to CEO Mansoor Rahma Al Falasi, who spoke on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai.
Established in 1994 and converted into a public company in 2023, DTC currently operates 9,000 vehicles, including 6,000 taxis, and employs 17,500 people across four divisions: taxis, VIP limousines, buses, and delivery services.
As part of its expansion strategy, DTC signed an MoU with Bolt last December to offer limousine services through the global e-hailing platform. The company has already launched services in Abu Dhabi, including delivery bike operations in partnership with Talabat, and operates school buses in Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman.
While currently focused on Dubai, DTC is assessing market opportunities to introduce taxi and limousine services in other emirates, Falasi stated.
