Riyadh: With Ramadan 2025 just a few weeks away, Muslims have begun traveling to Mecca in preparation for the holy month. Saudi meteorologists predict that this year’s Ramadan will be marked by moderate weather, offering a pleasant experience for worshippers.
Aqeel Al-Hala, a weather analyst at the Saudi Arabian Center for Meteorology, stated in a recent interview that overall, temperatures will remain mild, with cooler conditions in the northern regions of the country.
Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic Hijri calendar, holds deep religious significance for Muslims worldwide. It is expected to begin on March 1, based on lunar observations. However, the exact date will be confirmed by official moon sighting committees.
Since Ramadan is a peak period for Umrah pilgrims, the anticipated pleasant weather is expected to provide comfort to worshippers during their spiritual journey.
