Kuwait Adorns Streets with Over 2,000 Flags for National Celebrations

Kuwait Municipality has completed extensive preparations to mark the country’s national holidays under the leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad. More than 2,000 Kuwaiti flags of various sizes have been raised across the country, with key locations, including the Red Palace in Jahra Governorate, decorated for the occasion. Additionally, 138 mobile advertisements bearing the slogan “Pride and Dignity” have been installed to enhance the celebratory atmosphere.

Efforts have also been made to maintain 490 flagpoles on bridges, stretching from Amiri Airport to Bayan Palace, ensuring a well-organized display of national pride. Citizens and residents have been encouraged to cooperate with field monitoring teams and report any damaged flags for immediate replacement. The initiative reflects the municipality’s commitment to preserving the festive spirit and upholding national symbols.

In addition to the public displays, Kuwait Municipality’s Legal Department, led by Director Hussein Al-Ajmi, has organized a special celebration for municipal employees on Wednesday. This event aims to honor the significance of Independence and Liberation Day anniversaries while fostering unity and national pride among government employees and the general public.
