Kuwait Enhances Security Measures for National Celebrations

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has finalized a comprehensive security plan to ensure safety during the country’s national holiday celebrations. Brigadier Nasser Abu Salib, Director General of Public Relations and Security Media, confirmed that security forces will be deployed at 23 key locations where large gatherings are expected. The plan focuses on maintaining order, managing traffic flow, and ensuring public safety in malls, markets, restaurants, beaches, farms, and camps.

To prevent disruptions, authorities will strictly enforce laws against reckless behaviors such as water spraying, climbing on vehicles, and obstructing traffic. The Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with official media channels, will continuously share safety guidelines, and citizens can report emergencies or violations through the 112 hotline. Coordination with agencies like the Ministry of Health, the Public Fire Force, and Kuwait Municipality will enable quick responses to any incidents.

Additionally, the Ministry will participate in the 2025 military exhibition, “Kuwait Security,” from February 25-27 along Arabian Gulf Street near Kuwait Towers. The event will feature various activities organized in collaboration with the Tourism Projects Company. Citizens and residents are urged to follow security instructions to ensure smooth and successful national celebrations.
