Godavarthy Venkata Srinivas Appointed as India’s New Ambassador to Oman

The Ministry of External Affairs has announced the appointment of Godavarthy Venkata Srinivas as the new Indian Ambassador to Oman. A 1993 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service, Srinivas is currently serving as an Officer on Special Duty at the Ministry. He will succeed Amit Narang, the outgoing ambassador, whose tenure has concluded. Srinivas is expected to assume his new role shortly, marking an important milestone in the diplomatic relations between India and Oman.
