Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration as the 47th President of the United States on January 20 is set to feature a high-profile guest list, including notable figures from the world of politics, business, and international leadership. Billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg have confirmed their attendance, with Musk, known for his strong ties to Trump, joining the platform alongside other prominent guests, including Trump’s cabinet nominees.
Musk’s connection to Trump goes beyond mere attendance, as he has been appointed to co-lead an advisory commission focused on reducing government spending and bureaucracy. Bezos and Zuckerberg, while not closely aligned with Trump’s views, have sought to engage with global leaders and diplomats.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will represent India, following an invitation from the Trump-Vance inaugural committee. Other global leaders attending or sending representatives include Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Chinese President Xi Jinping (via a high-level envoy), and Argentine President Javier Milei, who will attend in person.
Several former U.S. Presidents, including Joe Biden, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton, will also be present, though Michelle Obama will not attend. Trump’s inaugural ceremony is poised to be a global event, breaking away from tradition with an extended invitation to international figures and former heads of state.
