Doha: The Ministry of Interior in Qatar has introduced a revamped version of its Metrash app, designed to be more user-friendly and to offer an expanded suite of services. Brigadier Jassim Al Buhashim Al Said, Director General of Communications and Information Systems at the Ministry of Interior, explained that the app has been upgraded using the latest technologies to streamline access to information and services.
The updated app now features enhanced functionalities such as address management for document delivery, locating various service centers, and passport scanning for visa issuance. New icons have also been added to facilitate the issuance, reprinting, and sharing of certificates, as well as to provide easy access to all security services. Additionally, GCC citizens can now use the app to renew their Qatar ID or replace lost or damaged cards.
The Ministry confirmed that users can download the updated version of the Metrash app from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
